UA Local 469’s Solomon Galyon was recently appointed AZBTC’s Business Manager. The organization’s Training Director since 2022, Solomon leads the Apprenticeship Readiness Programs, which congratulated its first graduates last year.

With 17 years immersed in the trade industry and 12 years dedicated to instructing apprentices, he has great understanding of the craft and a passion for nurturing the next generation of skilled professionals.

Graduating from the International Training Program with an Associate’s Degree and currently pursuing a Coordinator’s Certification, the 469 steam fitter said he is committed to continuous learning and professional development.

Confirmed by delegate vote as the Council’s Business Manager, Solomon is a natural team builder who said his primary focus remains advancing Apprenticeship Readiness Programs and aligning the common goals of member Locals, further solidifying his dedication to fostering excellence and unity within the trade community.
